Leon Paul Sikelianos

Watervliet - Leon Paul Sikelianos (62) January 25, 1959 - October 15, 2021.  Passed away at Albany Medical Center from complications of diabetes.  Leon graduated from Teaneck High School on NJ.  He spent  much timeat his family vacation home in Williamstown, MA.  He was employed as a shipping and receiving manager for Rand McNally in Belleville, NJ before moving to North Adams, MA where he was a taxi driver.  Leon was a avid horse racing enthusiast, he spent lots of energy watching horses.  When Leon became sick with cancer he moved to the Albany area.  He lived in the Albany area for 27 years.  Leon was predeceased by his parents, Mark and Ruth (Scharf) Sikelianos, and his sister Gina Sikelianos.  He is survived by his sister, Louise Sikelianos Carter, a daughter Desiree Nicole Duncan, a son Christopher Ryan Sikelianos and a grandson.  He will be missed by his many other relatives and friends. A service will be held at the Meyers Funeral Home at a later date.
